Exploring National Parks during #FinderyChat
Did you know that the National Parks Service is celebrating it’s big 100th birthday this summer? Just like anyone celebrating a milestone that big, all they want for their birthday is for you to come visit already.
If you go, you won’t be alone.
According to the National Parks Service, 307,247,252 people visited National Parks in 2015. That’s a whole lot of people striking out to visit some of the most treasured lands in the United States. But when you consider the fact that there are no fewer than 58 National Parks nationwide and that every year the number of visits to the parks increases by almost 10 million, the number doesn’t seem as surprising any more.
Really, anyone who has ever been to a National Park knows exactly why the numbers keep increasing. When you’ve been to one National Park, you’re suddenly struck with an intense desire to go visit them all.
Feel as passionately about National Parks as we do? Join us on Tuesday, May 3rd at 10am PST/1pm EST as we come together to to discuss all the wonders that National Parks have to offer in our bi-monthly Twitter #FinderyChat.
